Zigzag up to Hoher Kasten

The hike up to Hoher Kasten starts by the Church Brülisau, on a paved road. It then heads left over a stream, Horstbach. The next stage of the hike continues along the stream and over fields as well as a bog. Finally, you arrive at the Alp Fulen. Via the Berggasthaus Ruhesitz, the way continues up to Alp Soll. After hiking up a few strenuous zigzag curves you will reach the altitude of Hoher Kasten-Staubern. From there on out it is only a short way up to Hoher Kasten. Take a well-deserved break and enjoy the magnificent view from above.
