«Rondom Eggestande»

With the modern Eggerstanden Church of St. Josef behind you, past the Neues Bild and Altes Bild restaurants, turn left at the Schützenstand, soon after leaving the last houses of the neighbourhood behind you. Step by step, the view opens up over the moorland plateau of Eggerstanden while the Alpstein massif rises in the background.
The view changes only slightly after you turn right and follow the road for a short distance. Soon after, leave the road and continue uphill past several scattered farmhouses. At the first opportunity, follow the path downhill across meadows until you reach Eichbergstrasse Street. Leave this road to the right and cross the Auerbach Stream, where you will find yourself at the lowest point of the hike. A small road will then take you back to where you started.
