A unique combination of forest, wilderness and river landscape awaits you at two locations in the Zurich Wilderness Park.

In the Langenberg, you can observe native wild animals such as lynx, wolf and bison at close range in the oldest and largest zoo in Switzerland almost like in the wild. In the Sihlwald Nature Adventure Park, imposing giant trees and deadwood with fungi and lichens characterise the primeval forest-like wilderness area.

Sihlwald Exhibition

In the visitor centre, a permanent exhibition provides interesting information about the history of the Sihlwald as a commercial forest and shows the special features of today's natural forest. The visitor centre in Sihlwald is open seasonally from the end of March to the end of October. More information here.
