You can surf for free again on the Lake Constance cycle path from April to October. The Wifi hotspots offer foreign guests the opportunity to avoid high roaming charges in Switzerland and to plan their bike tour without extensive map material.
Unlimited surfing on the bike tour
The two tourism organizations St. Gallen-Lake Constance Tourism and Thurgau Tourism offer the possibility of free and unlimited Internet access with the Wifi hotspots. The small 4G hotspots can be obtained at the crossing point of the cycle path into Switzerland, at the FFA Museum in Altenrhein, at the Swiss Lake Constance Shipping Company and at the tourist information office in Kreuzlingen. The Zeppelin Museum in Friedrichshafen also offers the hotspots free of charge from April to October. The devices can be returned at all locations. Both locals and foreign guests on the Lake Constance cycle path benefit from the joint development of the offer. Cyclists can enjoy a mobile cycling experience along the Swiss shores of Lake Constance without having to carry space-consuming maps. The hotspots are available while stocks last.
