Since 1866, the Fromm family has been pressing wine in the idyllic wine-growing village of Malans in the Bündner Herrschaft. In 1992, Georg & Ruth Fromm packed their bags and three young children, emigrated to New Zealand and founded the Fromm Winery in Marlborough. Back in Malans, her son Marco Fromm took over the management of the winery in 2015 in the fifth generation. Organic and regenerative cultivation accompanies the Fromm family on their uncompromising path to bring out the peculiarities of the various vineyards and Pinot Noir clones even more strongly. Her six Malans vineyards Pinot Noirs, Selvenen, Michel, Fidler, Küng, Spielmann and Schöpfi, reflect the style of the house: purity, minerality and aromatic depth.
