Wandern im Atzmännig - Route 4
Mountain station - Altschwand - valley station (long way)
This beautiful hike starts at the Atzmännig valley station, from where the altitude difference can be overcome with the chairlift (note opening hours). At the top, walk in the direction of Chrüzegg via Schwammegg-Rotstein-Tweralpspitz-Tweralphütte. At the hut, follow the signpost about 200m further down, then walk towards Restaurant Altschwand and back to the Schutt valley station.
Hiking time: approx. 2 1/4 hours
The path leads past various fireplaces.
