Wandern im Atzmännig - Route 3
Mountain station - Altschwand - valley station (short distance)
This panoramic hike starts at the Atzmännig valley station, from where the altitude difference can be overcome with the chairlift (note opening hours). Once at the top, it goes over the Schwammegg to the Vorderer Rotstein (see signpost 2, shooting display). Then turn left, down to the Altschwand restaurant (968m) and from there continue towards the Schutt valley station.
Hiking time: approx. 1 1/2 hours From the valley station, the Altschwand alpine restaurant can be reached directly in about 1/2 hour and is suitable for prams.
