Voralpsee
The idyllic Voralpsee is located at 1123 meters above sea level in Grabs in the canton of St. Gallen.
In a hollow on the Grabserberg, in the middle of alpine pastures and forests, is the natural lake between the Alviergebiet and Churfirsten. The mountain lake is fed by various streams, including the Langgnerbach, the Nausbach and the Chrüzwaldbach. The outflow of the Voralpsee runs underground. The Voralpsee is rather elongated with a length of almost 550 meters and a width of 250 meters.
The Alpsee can be comfortably circumnavigated on a beautiful walking path. Due to its easy accessibility, the lake has become a popular destination for many lake lovers: hikers, walkers, brätellustige families, bikers or friends of mountain seaside bathing visit the lake in large numbers in the warm months. In the summer months, bathing in the Voralpsee offers the necessary refreshment.
