The visitor center of the “Verein für Handwerk und Kunst im Appenzellerland” (Association for Crafts and Art in the Appenzellerland) is located directly in the Urnäsch railroad station building and houses a bistro and a store. The many handcrafted products and works of art of our association members are presented there and can be purchased directly on site.
There are 25 seats in the bistro, plus a few chairs and tables outside in the warmer months. In addition to all kinds of drinks, the bistro also offers snacks, snacks, sandwiches and a simple kiosk, but without magazines.
