Turngeräte Museum
For 1912 years, the gymnastics equipment for school and club gymnastics in Switzerland has come from Ebnat-Kappel!
Visitors to the exhibition will find gymnastic equipment that immediately awakens memories and emotions. In addition to these devices, unique specimens can also be admired, such as what is probably the oldest pommel horse with head and tail still in existence. Books, photos and films show the gymnastics of that time as contemporary witnesses.
We shed light on the more than 300-year history of gymnastics: from the exercises in the knights' academies, gymnastics as a patriotic duty, to sports, games and fun!
New also with audio guide, themed course and various puzzles.
Admission:
CHF 5.-/person
Children and young people up to 16 years of age free of charge
Guided tours for groups: CHF 10.-/person, minimum CHF 80.-/group
