Thurwasserfälle

If you want to experience the full force of the element of water up close, a visit in the rain is recommended. An experience for all the senses: the roar of the water in your ears, the cool and humid air on your skin, the sight of the wild water cascading over the rocks. In summer, the place is a welcome way to cool off. Three rock galleries can be entered with non-slip footwear and create new perspectives on the waterfalls. The Thur waterfalls are located on the hiking trail and are signposted from the village centre.

Note: In winter, access to the Thur Waterfalls may be restricted or completely closed due to ice formation, rockfall and an increased risk of slipping. Current information can be obtained from the building authority of the municipality of Wildhaus-Alt St. Johann.
