The Kunst(Zeug)Haus in Rapperswil-Jona is a lively center for Swiss contemporary art. Its exhibition areas are well worth a visit.
The Kunst(Zeug)Haus has quite rightly been awarded an architecture prize. Housed in a former armory, the Kunst(Zeug)Haus foundation combines the presentation of Swiss contemporary art with a unique atmospheric ambience.
Temporary exhibitions reflect the creations of Swiss artists from the modern-day and the last few decades. All techniques are represented from installations to photography.
Of the approx. 6,500 works of art currently featured in the unique Kunst(Zeug)Haus exhibition, selected examples are regularly on display.
