Tanzboden
The Tanzboden with its hospitable alpine economy is located between the Toggenburg and the Linth area at 1,443 m above sea level.
In both summer and winter, you can reach the Tanzboden from Rieden in about an hour; from Ebnat-Kappel in about two hours walking time. In summer, the trail is doable as an easy, leisurely hike. In winter, you can easily reach the alpine inn with snowshoes or touring skis.
The view from the Tanzboden alpine inn is unique: Lake Zurich, Säntis, Speer, Chüemettler to Lake Constance.
