St Mamertus Chapel
The St Mamertus Chapel in the upper village of Triesen is the oldest chapel in Liechtenstein.
Trisun Castle - the seat of the nobles of Trisun - once stood on the site where the chapel now stands. Today, the chapel is a popular excursion destination with a wonderful view over the Rhine Valley. The idyllic vineyard of the Triesen winegrowers' association borders directly on the chapel.
Unfortunately it is closed for now.
