The aviation museum right next door shows, among other things, the development of the St.Gallen-Altenrhein airfield, the Dornier company and the history of the Swiss Air Force. It is the only museum of its kind in Europe to show airworthy exhibits that also travel regularly in the air. Visitors can experience the exhibited machines up close and take a seat in an original Hunter cockpit!
