The close connection to this beautiful and lovable valley is unmistakable. Sonnenbräu has been brewing its beers for over 130 years with craftsmanlike care, from selected raw materials and of the highest quality.
At the beginning of the 20th century, there were more than 30 breweries between Lake Constance and Sarganserland. Only the Sonnenbräu managed to survive the sometimes very difficult times in the region.
Today, the modernly equipped brewery produces almost 3 million liters of beer per year with about 40 employees. Despite the beautiful upswing, it has never given up the character of a microbrewery.
Brewing beer for the Rheintaler with the highest level of quality and according to the self-imposed purity law remains Sonnenbräu's most beautiful task. Today, 23 beers are brewed with artisan care from selected raw materials and with the highest quality.
