Nestled in an idyllic hilly landscape, high above Haslen in Appenzell Innerrhoden, lies the Sonder farm, managed by the Rempfler family. With more than 20 years of experience in suckler and nurse cow husbandry, we run a joint venture with the Brülisauer family.

We have always relied on natural, environmentally friendly agriculture and years ago we converted the farm to the rearing of Aberdeen Angus. The philosophy remains the same – gentle rearing for the benefit of the animal and nature. The animals are fed only with food from their own farm.

We are concerned about healthy, strong animals for further breeding and for an enjoyable piece of meat for the special moments of pleasure.

The Angus Beef inspires with its fine, aromatic taste. "Special Angus" is only available as a mixed package in order to use as much of the animal as possible and only in limited availability.
