Sleep under the apple tree
Once a welcome relief from work in agriculture, today a creative accommodation offer: Thurgau Tourism's latest four-poster bed has been created on the wagon of a Rapid Special.
The single-axle vehicle with a double bed can be parked on balmy summer nights under your favourite apple tree at the Hagschnurer Hof in Hüttwilen. At this extraordinary open-air location, with nothing but the apple tree and starry sky above you, you can experience the scents and colours of Thurgau's nature unfiltered and up close. Even a light rain or uncertain weather does not spoil this special experience. It is now possible to simply stretch a transparent tarpaulin over the four-poster bed. There is also an emergency shelter for guests in the Schüür.
