Saurer Garten

The mixture of the urban ambience of the former industrial area behind it and the Arbon lake promenade in front of it make the Saurer Garten a favourite place. Guests will enjoy a wide and beautiful range of drinks. From morning coffee to aperitifs and refreshing drinks, everything is available here. In addition, the food truck offers delicacies to snack on. A sandpit has been set up for children to play in. The industrial building behind the garden houses the Saurer Museum. This shows the impressive history of Adolf Saurer AG, which was for a long time the most important Swiss manufacturer of trucks and later also of textile machinery. Among other things, production took place at the location that now houses the museum. A vehicle from the Saurer success story stands atmospherically in the Saurer Garden – a converted Postbus. Highlight for children: they can take a seat in the driver's seat. The old Saurer bus can be rented for private parties or offers space for a drink and an aperitif platter in doubtful weather. Events such as children's birthday parties, a fondue party or a private music session are gladly organized.
