Sämtisersee
As with the Fählensee, there is no drain to be seen here. The water of both lakes flows underground and resurfaces in the Rhine Valley. Runoff or not, enjoy a refreshing swim!
The water level fluctuates greatly, which is why Lake Sämtis almost dries up in very hot summers.
