Surrounded by wild mountain streams and beautiful alpine flora, this popular circular hike leads to one of the most fascinating mountain lakes in Switzerland: the Oberblegisee.

The circular hike from Grotzenbüel leads through picturesque meadows and forests with panoramic views of the Glärnisch massif. The path runs through picturesque landscapes and leads directly to the deep blue Oberblegisee. The mountain lake is one of the most beautiful in Switzerland, and along the way you can enjoy regional specialities from the Braunwald region in the cosy Bächibeizli restaurant. The hike takes around 3 hours and ends at the mountain station of the Brunnenbergbahn.

Note: The hike is particularly popular with families and school trips, as it is ideal for picnics, sunbathing and swimming.
