Rorschach-Heiden mountain railway
Heiden station is the terminus of the Rorschach-Heiden mountain railway. Over a distance of around 5.6 kilometres, the cogwheel railway from Lake Constance covers 400 metres in altitude.
On the approximately 5.6-kilometre-long route, you can see some of the diverse St.Gallen and Appenzell hilly landscape with the Rorschach-Heiden mountain railway. On the cogwheel railway, open wagons offer the opportunity for beautiful views from Rorschach to the destination station in Heiden.
