Many guests come back again and again because the landlords give the feeling that you are welcome here.
In August 2005, we, Fränzi and Peter Signer-Frick, acquired the Ochsen inn and butcher's shop in Schönengrund from Hanni and Heinrich Nufer-Hefti. From the very beginning, we continued to run the business in the same spirit as our predecessors – now together with a well-rehearsed team, where our children Sonja, Peter junior and Nadja also occasionally participate.
Since March 2012, the shop has been located in the Landi on the Wäldlig side of the double village. In 2013, the restaurant underwent a comprehensive renovation. Several products offered at both locations are mountain and culinarium certified. And all this under the motto: Tradition with innovation - keep the tried and tested and still dare to do something new.
