Restaurant Mühle
The Mühle restaurant in the Ittingen Charterhouse impresses with its mill wheel, which is over a hundred years old. In addition, one of the most beautiful garden restaurants in Eastern Switzerland invites you to enjoy, magnificent gardens with over 1000 rose bushes and a labyrinth for strolling.
The products from the estate's own farm are known beyond the region. The management is sustainable, environmentally friendly and animal-friendly. 10 different grape varieties are cultivated in the vineyards, and the milk is processed into cheese specialties directly on site. Self-sufficiency was a matter of course for the Carthusian monks. Today, guests are spoiled with culinary delights, whether in the restaurant or in the monastery shop, where over 200 products from their own cultivation are presented. The creative 0-kilometre dishes are particularly recommended.
