Planta Houses
The Plantahäuser in Malans form an impressive ensemble of historic buildings. The lower and middle Plantahaus feature a late Baroque facade and purist architecture by Rudolf Olgiati. The upper house leads to the former market street.
The lower and middle Plantahaus (ancestral building) at the entrance to the village centre appear as a powerful ensemble, yet they are quite different. Here the late baroque façade of the stateliest house, there the puristic one by Rudolf Olgiati (1974). The upper house forms the northern leg of the Planta block and the entrance to the former main street, Marktstrasse, towards Prättigau.
