Pestalozzibrunnen
The Pestalozzi fountain in front of the historic schoolhouse is an artistic eye-catcher and combines design with deep symbolism.
At the centre of the fountain is the iron sculpture "Heraclitus" by Weinfeld artist Falco Natale Tomaselli. Its name is reminiscent of the Greek philosopher Heraclitus and his motto "Panta rhei" – "Everything flows". The element of water in the fountain takes up this idea and makes it visible. Since the redesign of the square in 2009, the fountain has stood for change, development and lifelong learning – values that are ideally suited to the school building.
