Ostschweizer Wein-Route: Stage 1
This tour is a bucolic delight: after the crashing Rhine Falls at the start, follow the quaint timber-framed houses of the wine country, the silvery eye of the little lake of Husemersee and the tranquillity of Kartause Ittingen charterhouse. The tour leads through the expansive plain of the seemingly innocuous river Thur and past the clement vineyards of Ottoberg.
