Ortsmuseum Bütschwil

Architecture and culture are at the heart of the Museumsgesellschaft Bütschwil.
She is not only concerned about the preservation of the Hätschberg sawmill. The association also runs the museum on the Eichelstock, which represents living over 200 years ago, houses the parlour of secondary school teacher Josef Halter (1877 – 1968) and houses the exhibition on the Dietfurt postcard photographer Alfred Lichtensteiger (1873 – 1952). Finally, the museum society rents out the extremely idyllic Taamühle for social events.
