Ortsmuseum Berneck
The museum presents interesting and valuable facts about the village and its farmers and craftsmen.
The stately Haus zum Torkel , which was built on the foundation walls of the old Alemanni “Kelnhof” settlement, houses a collection of local history. Artefacts from wine and fruit growing, farming, cooperage and pottery and items from long ago bear witness to the historical past of the town. A magnificent wine press from 1682 dominates the adjacent room which is used for receptions and aperitifs.
