Napoleon Museum Arenenberg
The Arenenberg in Thurgau with its castle is located in one of the most beautiful and romantic places on the entire Lake Constance. From the castle terrace you can enjoy a spectacular view over the Lower Lake region.
The historical heart of the Arenenberg is the Napoleon Museum in the castle. Here, the carefully restored, originally furnished living quarters of Queen Hortense and the imperial family of Napoleon III can be viewed. Magnificent tented salons, private retreats, maid's rooms and precious paintings but also a hand-embroidered children's throne can be seen here. The castle estate is surrounded by a landscaped park and the Arenenberg school and estate business, which also includes the vineyards of the estate's own winery.
