Museum Ackerhus
In the heart of Toggenburg stands the Ackerhus in Ebnat-Kappel - a place that preserves cultural heritage in an inspiring way and keeps it alive. The historic farmhouse from the 18th century was faithfully rebuilt in 1952 by Albert Edelmann at its current location. In doing so, he laid the foundation stone for today's local history museum and cultural venue.
The Ackerhus combines history and present in a special place: Toggenburg architecture, lovingly restored and modernly expanded rooms invite you to special exhibitions, concerts and private parties. Here, past and present meet and create content that documents origins and connects them in the present.
Whether it's a spontaneous visit to the exhibition or a special event – the Ackerhus offers perspectives that arouse curiosity and whet your appetite for more.
