Morga AG
The Morga company has its origins in India: The grandfather of the current managing director, Ernst Lieberherr, moved to a foreign country in 1910 for the Gebrüder Volkart company and quickly learned to move in this new environment. During his 20-year stay in the very different country, he acquired a taste for vegetarian nutrition and got to know exciting products and diets that had been unknown in Switzerland until then.
The company has been able to grow steadily over the last three generations and expand its product ranges. The Morga range now includes over 1500 active sales items from 10 different product categories, mainly in organic quality. From syrup to fruit spread, dried fruit, teas, food supplements, cereals and much more. For some years now, other specialties have also been added. In addition to special diets, the main focus is on nutrition for allergies and intolerances such as celiac disease, but also on religious views. Morga produces many free-from products, such as gluten-free or sugar-free products, and exports products that are halal or kosher certified.
