Liliput railway
A special experience for children and adults. Enjoy a ride on the Steiner Lilliputbahn, with a train of the Rhaetian Railway, with carriages from the 20s, harnessed by a crocodile "Ge6/6" or a real RhB steam locomotive of the "Type G 4/5" fired with coals.
A special experience for children and adults. Enjoy a ride on the Steiner Lilliputbahn, with a full-scale train of the Rhaetian Railway, with wagons from the 20s, harnessed by a crocodile "Ge6/6 I" or a real RhB steam locomotive of the "Type G 4/5" fired with coals. The locomotives and the wagons are built on a scale of 1:4.
The journey leads from SLB station, modelled on the "valley station of the Brienzer Rothornbahn", at the Schifflände URh, past the children's playground, through the beautiful city garden, along the Rhine, through the tunnel at the locomotive shed and back to the station.
The gauge is 7 1/4 inches. Our machines are able to transport 30 to 60 people effortlessly. Different locomotives run alternately, depending on the volume of traffic.
Treat yourself to a ride of just under 10 minutes and enjoy the experience of being pulled along the beautiful Rhine by a model electric locomotive from times gone by or by a large model steam locomotive, blowing and snorting.
