In Lieni Park between Winterthur and Frauenfeld, guests will find one of the oldest swimming pools in Switzerland, a modern wakeboarding facility, a motivating range of sports and events and fresh and regional menus in the food truck and umbrella bar.
The Lienipark natural pond in Wiesendangen inspires sports enthusiasts with spring water, free of chemicals and chlorine and free admission. A modern wakeboard lift 2.0 pulls across the water. Obstacles such as tube or kicker challenge advanced climbers, but inexperienced hikers will also find a good wakeboard introduction here. The latest in boards and equipment is rented. A separate children's pool, slackline and trampoline welcome families. Varied events such as outdoor yoga, card game and volleyball tournaments or fun wakeboard sessions, for example dressed up, for chicks only or as a boys night invite you to play and let off steam. On spacious meadows surrounding the pool, guests can enjoy the sun and regional fresh products from the food truck. There is pasta, seasoned with herbs from their own raised beds and homemade pesto, burgers or pizza. In summer, drinks, good coffee and gelati in the umbrella bar refresh you, from November to January every other weekend spicy Urnäscher fondue warms you up in a cosy wintry atmosphere.
