Kräuterschaugarten und Kräuterladen Propstei

A new addition in 2006 was the monastery garden of the monastery in Alt St. Johann.
On an area of 70 ares, about 50 different tea and culinary herbs are grown. The tasty aromatic and tea herbs cultivated with great care thrive on five certified organic farms in Niederwil (Brunnadern), on the Wintersberg (Ebnat-Kappel), on the Upper Rütiberg (Ebnat-Kappel) and in the Pfiffholdern (Bichwil). With the knowledge of many years of experience, the herbs are cared for, harvested by hand, gently dried and carefully processed.
The garden area is wheelchair accessible (lawn and gravel rolled), disabled toilet in the Catholic church.
