At the children's construction site in Wattwil, the children are supported and accompanied by competent caregivers. In the designated area, they can build and design with a wide variety of building materials according to their ideas and wishes, their knowledge and skills. Children learn to do handicrafts and creativity outdoors, alone or together, involve their environment in their actions and promote their tactile, social and motor skills.
All children up to the age of 12 are welcome. The offer is free of charge for all visitors and, in addition to the supervised opening hours, the children's construction site is available to all school classes from the lower and middle school, the daycare centres, the curative education school, all youth clubs from Wattwil and the region and other interested parties from the field of childcare for any projects and events.
