Jacob 1808 - historic city flats

Spend the night like a mayor or cloth merchant in the 18th century? The five Jacob 1808 holiday apartments in two listed houses in the centre of Bischofszell make it possible and surprise with an interior mix of modern design classics and creaking wooden floorboards.
In the middle of the historic baroque town of Bischofszell are the five spacious Jacob 1808 holiday apartments for two to four people in two houses. They were home to cloth merchants, master saddlers, innkeepers and even Bischofszell mayors. This historical heritage and thus the soul of the houses was preserved during the careful renovation with the help of the Office for the Preservation of Monuments. Instead of separating walls, passageways were created between the two houses, so that they present themselves as a unified whole. Historic monastery clay tiles, creaking floorboards, impressive stucco ceilings and wood panelling, paired with modern furniture, bathrooms and kitchens result in a wonderful composition of historical elements and stylish contemporary comfort.
