History-Trail Ermatingen

The History Trail in Ermatingen offers a digital experience and learning path through the history of the place. On the approximately 4.5-kilometer route, which can be completed in about 1 hour 30 minutes, participants are guided to 35 different historical points with the help of a smartphone. The path is accompanied by the figure "Professor Erfmuotinger", who leads through the various stations and conveys historical background in an entertaining way. The tour is designed to be interactive, combining knowledge transfer with playful elements and puzzles that promote an understanding of the local past. Ermatingen is one of the oldest settlements on Lake Constance and looks back on an eventful history, which the trail brings to life in a vivid way.
