Three themed trails
The Helsana Trails are available all over Switzerland in three different lengths. In Eschenbach, every trail has a theme on which you can experience Eschenbach's sunny side.

16,3km «Um Eschenbach» yellow
The longest trail is marked with yellow signs and leads around Eschenbach. After the start, you can enjoy the beautiful view of the Goldberg and over the Obersee. Past fireplaces and the old burial mound on the Balmenrain, it goes via Neuhaus to Bürg. Along the upper hills in the Eggwald, for example, the Herzliweg or the Archehof Rüegg farm can be explored.

7,1km «By the water» green
The middle route, which is signposted with green signs, leads past the Rüti nature reserve , via Mühlebach to the Rietstuckweiher. Here benches invite you to linger. The path continues via Neuhaus to the Siessenweiher. At the height of Fätzikon you can enjoy a great view over Eschenbach. The way back leads in the village center past the picturesque Custorhaus .

4,9km «In the village»
The shortest trail with the blue boards takes you around part of the village of Eschenbach. This varied trail leads through the forest, across meadows and past a beautiful grotto. Ideal for a family outing on Sunday or an evening round.

The three Helsana trails are cleverly designed so that they intersect at certain points. This allows you to shorten or lengthen the routes yourself as needed. The start and finish of each trail is at the village meeting point in Eschenbach. There is a large overview plan. However, it can be launched anywhere.

Attention:
The signposts are only signposted in one direction. It is advisable to walk according to the given arrow direction.

Dorftreff Eschenbach (Rapperswilerstrasse 18, 8733 Eschenbach SG) is easily accessible by public transport (Eschenbach SG, Dorftreff). There are plenty of parking spaces available.

Creation of Helsana Trail Eschenbach
During the Corona lockdown, three Eschenbach residents, Simon Haag, Simon Ulrich and Claudio Roth, came up with the idea of realizing a new offer for the population. It should be free of charge, available at any time and for everyone. After various clarifications, you submitted your application to Helsana. Eschenbach had submitted a good concept with the three varied circuits, which convinced the jury and awarded the contract to Eschenbach.
