Grilling and bathing in the Thurrank near Bütschwil.
The thurrank barbecue area, as the name suggests, is located in a left turn of the Thur. Here the Thur flows down a small Nagelfluh step and forms beautiful bathing areas underneath. Some of them are very shallow, some of them a little deeper. In summer, the Thurrank is therefore a popular bathing place. You can enjoy a lot of peace and quiet here and hear nothing except the sound of the river and the chirping of the birds. In the Thurrank there are two barbecue areas available, which can be adjusted in height. Since they are a bit apart, you can spread out well here. At the small parking lot there is a wooden supply available and also a toilet. Unfortunately, a few tables and benches are missing. Only a few stone blocks offer a seating area. Otherwise, you just sit on the gravel bench or take camping chairs with you. Suitable for prams: yes, wood: yes, drinking water: no, toilet: yes, capacity: approx. 15
