Near Wolzenalp, on the hiking trail in the direction of Nesslau and Ijental, there is a panoramic family-friendly barbecue infrastructure.
The Swiss Family Standard fire pit is one of more than 500 throughout Switzerland that is ideally suited for hiking food from your backpack or for a day trip. It is equipped with two grills, available firewood, tables and benches as well as resting benches with great mountain views. It can be reached in 45 minutes from the Rietbach mountain station or in just under two hours from the Nesslau Neu St. Johann railway station.
