Goldloch Goldingertal
The Goldingertal gold hole is also called Isaraloch. At 60 m deep, the Isaraloch is one of the larger caves in the area. Around 1770, four to six miners are said to have searched for gold here every day. The Isaraloch has two tunnels - one immediately after the entrance on the left with a small lake - which are connected by a narrow passage. The soil is very loamy and can only be walked on with good hiking boots. Good footwear is also mandatory for the ascent, as it is sometimes quite narrow and steep.
Way to the gold hole:
It can be reached from the Chamm car park in about 20 to 30 minutes. First follow the path in the direction of Schindelberg. Approx. 200m after the iron gate, turn right and follow the course of the stream. At the cottage, turn right again and then cross the stream. Now the hiking trail leads to the entrance of the cave. The path is marked with brown signposts "Goldloch".
