Friedenskapelle

The Peace Chapel in Malbun was built as a sign of gratitude for sparing Liechtenstein in the Second World War.

The Catholic Chapel of Peace in Malbun is located at 1627 m above sea level. M. and was built between 1950 and 1951 according to plans by the architect Johannes Hugentobler. As a thank you for sparing Liechtenstein from the consequences of the Second World War, it is dedicated to the patron saints of peace, Mary and Brother Klaus. The single-nave chapel room made of natural stone has a flat choir and a bell bay above the ridge of the roof.
