The nutrition field shows how much land is needed to feed a person and brings the importance of sustainable agriculture to life.

The "Weltacker" (global field) project has been implemented in Liechtenstein since 2018 and became the nutrition field in June 2021. The nutrition field of the Association of Peasant Organisations shows the average area of land needed to feed a person in relation to the actual arable land available. It illustrates the scarcity of land as a resource, but also the diversity of food crops. Crops are grown that are not or no longer cultivated in Liechtenstein, such as Ribelmais (a type of corn), soy, and buckwheat. The Konrad vom NeufeldHOF Vaduz family is cultivating the food field, which is part of the "Lake Constance Garden Year".

With an area of 12,000 square metres, it is the largest project in Liechtenstein in terms of area that is moving in the direction of self-sufficiency. At the current standard of living, three Liechtensteiners could be fed for a year from the field, which is the size of 1.7 football pitches.
