Fireplace Hagenturm
On a large meadow right next to the Hagen Tower, there are three fireplaces with wooden benches.
Hagenturm, is a 40-metre high steel framework tower located in Merishausen. The tower was built in 1989 and replaced an older tower nearby.
With its 912 metres above sea level, it is the highest point in the Canton of Schaffhausen.
The platform on Hagen allows excellent panoramic views of the Alps and the Black Forest.
Hagenturm’s special feature is that it has a radome from the Swiss Armed Forces on the very top.
