Eschen-Mill
In the mill, you can be fascinated by centuries-old technology and learn interesting facts about the history of the corn mill and its technology.
The former co-operative mill was built in 1778 as a manorial mill. The corn grown in the lowlands is ground here every spring. In addition to the annual ‘grinding day’, various events are organised here.
In the eastern part, the historic, fully functional milling plant can be visited. Events are organised in the western part. On the upper floor is the permanent exhibition on the subject of nutrition, which shows equipment and objects that were once used both for maize cultivation and for food supply in general.
School classes and groups are also very welcome at Eschen Mill. Guided tours are available by appointment from 1 April to 31 October. The mill is closed from 1 November to 31 March.
