Dux-Kapelle

The Catholic chapel is located on Duxweg in Schaan and was built in 1716, on a site where there was already a small place of worship. The chapel with its three altars is dedicated to the Mother of God and has been a listed building since 1951. In 1887, two Roman legionnaires' helmets from the 1st century AD were discovered in the immediate vicinity during excavation work, which are now kept in the museums of Bregenz and Zurich.
