Chilbi in Einsiedeln

On the last Sunday in August, the traditional Chilbi takes place in Einsiedeln. It lasts three days, on Monday and Tuesday there is also the Verena Market. The amusement park and the many original "Beizlis", run by local clubs, create a real fairground atmosphere.

The Hermit Chilbi is one of the largest in the area. Many hermits who no longer live in the monastery village spend the Chilbitage in their old homeland. But you as a visitor from near and far can also enjoy the festive atmosphere.

On Sunday, the traditional Chilbi wrestling festival will also take place in the style of the former dairy brotherhood.
