Cable Car Frümsen – Staubern
The cableway from Frümsen to Staubern is the first cableway in the world to be neutral in terms of energy consumption and environmental impact. The power supply is generated by a solar energy system and rechargeable batteries. It completes the journey from the Rhine Valley up to Staubern – a 1 250 metres climb – in under eight minutes. At the top specialities from the Rhine Valley and the Appenzellerland as well as an unparalleled panorama across 4 countries await guests.
