BnB Haldehuus
Our Appezeller-Hüsli is located in Stein AR and looks from there into the sun and far into the country. And it has been doing so for almost 200 years.
The BnB in the Haldehuus extends over two floors and offers a direct view of the Alpstein and the countryside. The building materials are a mix of old and new, so the old knitted walls could be preserved and combined with a poured stone floor and new spruce floors. The highlight is the high window, which reaches from floor to ceiling. This can be opened and so you can enjoy the view not only from inside, but also in the fresh air with a cup of coffee or tea.
The BnB has a sleeping area with a double bed on the upper floor. In the lower area there is space to eat, work or be. Just around the corner in the corridor is the private bathroom with shower and toilet.
The BnB has a coffee machine. We are happy to serve breakfast in the BnB or outside, depending on the weather. We also prepare a simple dinner on request.
The BnB can be reached by car. Arrival by public transport is possible via Stein AR (walk approx. 30 minutes) or Appenzell with the PubliCar virtually to the front door. A driving service is available for an extra charge.
No minimum stay. Ideal for 1-2 people.
